Sibling love, courtesy of the library!

Last week I took Chloe and Carver to our new and improved Running Springs library! It's just beautiful. We have a way bigger building which means a lot more new books, new computers, 2 new kiddo computers complete with cute little mice and a really cool self check out station! Chloe just loves her new library, she still has a little trouble keeping quiet but it's OK since the kids have their very own section now!

As she was picking out books she looked up at me and said "Mom I want to get 3 books and read them all to my broth." (her abbreviation for Brother) What a good big sister I thought. She's already taking on the "Big Sister" role and thinking of her brother first! As soon as we got home I let her read her books to Carver and he just loved it. As she was reading to him he just kept looking at her, then looking at the book. I could already see that these two were going to be best pals for life...

TWINS

Look at this cute picture I took of Carver...

JUST KIDDING! It's really Chloe when she was 3 months old. Can you believe how much they look alike?

Here's one of Carver at (almost) 3 months old!

It's amazing how much they resemble each other and their father! Why couldn't I've gotten just one that looked like me?!?! Either way they turned out to be such adorable children!

"I'm good at sleeping!"

Lately Chloe and I have been reading her favorite book OLIVIA by Anne Schwartz (given by Tawny at Chloe's baby shower, Thanks Tawn!) After we were done reading Chloe asked to watch T.V. so I put it on Nick Jr. for her and low and behold there was a commercial on about an upcoming cartoon based on the OLIVIA books!!!! This being Chloe's favorite book, she was so excited.

In the book it writes about what Olivia's good at (mainly wearing people out) but I asked Chloe, "Chloe. What are you good at?" She replied with, "I'm good at sleeping mom." I said there's nothing else that your good at besides sleeping and she said "Oh, I'm good at playing too!" I guess at age 3 you really don't know what your good at yet. My hopes for her in the future is that she'll do her best and "try" to be good at everything she endeavors. Even when she fails I'll be right there to pick up the pieces and help her to move on to the next life lesson. Chloe is growing so fast I just want to remember these little conversations we have. And by blogging I'll be able to keep them forever!
