Busy Busy Month of October!

We definitely had a busy October! It started with my niece Kylie's 2nd Birthday party on Oct. 2, her actual birthday is Sept. 29. Then we had my sister Reshae's 36th Birthday on October 12. Carver's 1st birthday on Oct. 16. Chloe had her first "Field Trip" to our local Running Springs Fire Station. My nephew Adam's 1st birthday is on October 24. Then of course Halloween! Very busy, but a lot of fun!!!!

Happy 1st Birthday Carver Thomas!

On your birthday,
I’m thinking about how much light and sparkle
you freely dispense wherever you go,
how your sunny smile lights up any gathering.
Your first birthday marks the year
of you radiating positive, happy energy,
contagious happiness
that infects all who come in contact with you.
May your next birthday find you the same--
glowing from within,
beaming bright joy on everyone you meet.
I feel blessed to know you.
Happy 1st Birthday Son, I love you!

Chloe starts Preschool!

I can't believe my little girl is in preschool!? I can't imagine the feeling when she starts kindergarten, high school or even College! I'll try not to think of all that right now, that's too much emotion for me at the moment...

I love you Chloe Ann! Mommy's so proud of you. I hope your adventures in school are fun ones, I know you'll do just awesome...

p.s.
Carver walked for the first time about 5 feet! Two milestones in one day, I'm just in aww of my two precious kids. I am truly blessed.

Becky's Big Bachelorette Surfing Bonanza!

About 6 months ago I had asked Becky what she wanted to do for her Bachelorette party. Knowing she didn't want to do your typical "party in Vegas" she had said she wanted to go beach camping and surfing with her bridesmaids only. Years ago she had taken lessons through Surf Diva, girls who teach girls how to surf and had mentioned doing that. So whatever the bride wants the bride gets! So I set out to find camping and set up our lessons through Surf Diva in La Jolla, CA. Months later there we were and it was amazing! We were all surprised that we actually got up on the surfboard and were surfing! Especially me, I'm terrified of ocean waves and "sea life" but I was going to do it for my best friend. Besides I am the Matron of honor, I had to do it and glad I did!! Needless to say the weekend was absolutely perfect. I will always have these memories with the girls that mean the most to me in this world.

Becky:
I am very excited for the wedding and am looking forward to watching you grow as a wife and a mother. This was definitely a great start to a wonderful life you and Tarl will have together. I will always love and be here for you til' the end of time.
Your best friend,
Jaime

Yosemite!

Jake and I went to Yosemite to relax and hang out but what we really ended up doing was a long, brutal, amazing hike to Half Dome! I still can't believe I did it!!!! Those cables are no joke. You have to actually pull yourself up the moutain using the cables, crazy I know! But when you get to the top you know why you did it, just amazing...

It was about 17-18 miles plus we rode our bike 4 miles to and from the Trail head, so 10 hours later as you can imagine we were DONE! I have the blisters to prove it and I can hardly walk right now. But it was definetly worth it! Our next adventure is to the top of Cloudsrest, wish us luck!!
